Assurance of Salvation of a True Believer
(Eternal Security)

Many of us might have this question in mind; “If ever a person truly have faith in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, (this is enough for him to attain salvation according to Acts 16:31 [“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,…]) how can he possibly have assurance of salvation, while he still can commit sins as he still live in this world?

In the book of Revelation 13:18, we can read about the seal of the Anti-christ or the mark of the beast, the 666 (“…Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred and threescore and six.”). And whosoever shall be marked with this seal is certainly to go to eternal condemnation, in the burning lake of fire or hell.

On the other hand, in Ephesians 1:13-14, (“In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory”) we can read about another seal or mark; the seal of the Holy Spirit, which God shall put in any person after truly believing in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This mark or seal is not temporary that could be lost whenever a believer commit any transgression or disobedience to God. But rather, according to the verse, this seal is permanent until Jesus comes back to take God’s purchased possession “The Church”, the believers which he purchased with His own blood, “…to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood” (Acts 20:28). This does not pertain to any group of religion.

Now, let us compare the two above mentioned seals, the seal of the anti-christ or the 666 and the seal of the Holy Spirit. We know for sure that those who were marked with the seal of the anti-christ are to go to eternal sufferings in Hell. Then, we must believe that those who are sealed by the Holy Spirit are sure to have salvation for their souls and will go to the presence of God the Father, in heaven.

Now, let’s analyze this, if others are teaching the Doctrine of Losing Salvation ( i.e., a saved person can lost his salvation when he commits sin) it’s like they’re saying, that the seal of the anti-christ is greater than the seal of the Holy Spirit. Meaning to say also, that the enemy, the Devil, would be greater than God.

Therefore, we must reject the Doctrine of Losing Salvation and say with all confidence that we, the true believers of Jesus Christ have assurance for our salvation no matter what! Amen. GLORY TO GOD.

TITHING

We cannot deny the fact that during the time of Levitical Priesthood, the Jews were obligated to give the tithes of their harvest because it was commanded to them by God. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house.. » read more
