“For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:5)

“For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.” (Mark 13:22)

These verses are clearly giving us warnings about the coming of other christs or false christs, and shall deceive many. For unless we come to know and have faith on the TRUE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE, we can never have salvation for our souls.

It is a sad reality that nowadays, there are those who teach that our Lord Jesus Christ is not God. Others even say, He is a lesser or smaller god.

Although we can read of verses in the Bible, saying that our Lord Jesus Christ is man (because, truly, He became man, [“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,…” John 1:14]), there is no single verse that we can read saying HE IS NOT GOD. But rather, there are verses that proves the DEITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (or Jesus being God).

Let’s look at Revelation 22:3-4: “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him; And they shall see His face; and His Name shall be in their foreheads.” These verses are talking about a single throne which is the seat of God and of the Lamb. Two persons or beings, but pertained to as one. Notice the pronouns used is singular,.. “HIS”. While v.4 is saying that God and the Lamb has 1 face and 1 name, we all know that the Lamb of God being pertained to here is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is His nature or position, before He was begotten of the Father (“For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?, Hebrews 1:5) and He shall again be back to His original nature or position, being God, one with the Father. And it shall never happen that one who is not God, be allowed to sit on the throne of God to reign above all things forever. Base on this, we can say with all confidence that our LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD who became man. Amen. PRAISE BE TO GOD.
